The Hulk and Doomsday are two of the most dangerous heavy-hitters in Marvel and DC history… but who would win a comic fight between them?
The Incredible Hulk is known to be one of Marvel’s heaviest hitters. But could he possibly hold his own against DC’s most dangerous and deadly brute? Both characters are responsible for nigh-impossible feats, but only one will come out on top in this fight!
The Hulk is an oversized creature that first appeared in Bruce Banner’s dreams. His origins are not quite as straightforward-he was created by excessive amounts of gamma radiation, but the Hulk has always been a hero with only minimal collateral damage to his surroundings when properly angered.
Doomsday is a villain from DC comics who first appeared in 1993. He was created by an evil scientist and abandoned on prehistoric Krypton, where he had to fend for himself against all the other creatures that inhabited the earth at this time period, which led him to develop his killer instinct quickly so that he could survive. The crazed creature killed its creator before hijacking his ship and wreaking havoc across multiple planets, until finally arriving back home on Earth with one mission: kill Superman!
Doomsday is one of the most dangerous beings in all existence. He has survived for centuries and he will not stop, even if it means destroying an entire world to do so. His hatred runs deep and with every battle that passes, his power grows stronger. This makes him difficult to defeat on a physical level, because no matter how much you hurt him, he always comes back twice as strong the next time around. But what about emotionally? As hard as Doomsday tries, there are few things that can affect or change his emotions, but when they happen, we see just how vulnerable the behemoth really is-which leads us to our last point: vulnerability!
But even when he did die, his remains were collected and cloned. This made him more resistant to fighting Kryptonians after the fight with Superman, who was a true hero of our world!
The Hulk is one of the most powerful superheroes in a world full of gods. He’s strong enough to lift tanks, buildings, and 150 billion tons of rubble off an entire mountain like they were nothing-but where he really shines is in his regenerative abilities. No matter how much damage he incurs on any given day or week, even if it seems irreversible (especially against Doomsday), the next morning you’ll find him completely healed from all wounds and bruises.
Bruce Banner, the other half of The Hulk’s personality, is a genius scientist and has created many inventions that could potentially defeat Doomsday. However, Bruce Baner can not unleash these devices on his own due to being in danger of himself as well, which means if he were ever alone with no one around him but not wearing either suit, then it would be possible for him to become the Hulk again and undo all the progress against Doomsday made by others.
Banner’s intelligence is what makes this fight unfair. Even if it was removed, Hulk would still have the advantage over Doomsday because he has always come out on top against beings like him-large creatures with no intent other than to kill. The Banner may not be a genetically engineered killing machine, but an intelligent person who can use his brain and think of strategies in order to defeat one even when outnumbered ten-to-one by members of their own species, let alone some being that isn’t from our world at all!
